Hey There, I'm Zach
I'm Zach, the founder of OtterBlock and a tech, finance, and business all-rounder with over 14 years of experience. My journey in the industry started as a user administration analyst for the Brisbane city council and has been nothing but an upward climb ever since.
I've built up a wealth of knowledge about how business processes work, what their requirements are, and how technology impacts people. This led me to become a data analyst where I worked on finance regulatory reporting, business intelligence, and marketing insights and analytics. My focus was always on finding solutions to business challenges through data-centric decision making.
In 2016, I had a vision of revolutionizing personal finance management through education, budgeting, and automation, but the journey was not as easy as I thought. I had to pivot OtterBlock to leverage my experience in both corporate and startup environments to provide services to SMEs. Today, OtterBlock is all about strategy and business optimization using technology, and we also offer marketing strategy and branding services.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with top-tier employers like EY, Ashurst, Australian Retirement Trust, Uniting Care Queensland, BOQ, and Great Southern Bank. I have a proven track record of delivering solutions that meet the needs of businesses and their customers, and my combination of technical expertise, financial acumen, and customer-focused approach makes me an asset for any company looking to improve their operations, finances, or marketing.
In addition to running OtterBlock, I'm also an experienced mortgage broker with a Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking and I am finishing off my diploma in Complex Broking and Mortgage Broking Management in the works. When I'm not working, I love photography, video games, and I'm slowly but surely working on getting my pilot's license. So, if you're in need of a tech-savvy operations guru, look no further!
